London bridge travelled from UK to USA ( largest antique ever sold)

Hi friends I read an interesting news from a book and ended in a very funny experience. My mom brought me a book and asked that particular information to be added in my blog.First lets see what I read.

"London Bridge was taken from the UK to the USA.The five arched stone bridge was made between 1823 and 1831. In the twentieth century, London Bridge needed to be replaced by one better suited to modern traffic. American businessman Robert P. McCulloch bought it for $2,460,000. The bridge was shipped out stone by stone. It was rebuilt in Lake Havasu City in Arizona and completed in 1971. It is the largest structure ever moved and the largest antique ever sold!"

I just read the first line "London Bridge was taken from the UK to the USA" and asked my mom, If London Bridge was taken to USA then how come it is still in UK. My mom had a hearty laugh and explained the entire matter. Hope this is what is called a cashewnut.
