Behind the Window

* Published in Taj Mahal Review ( Dec 2012 Issue)

In the confines of her home

She peeps through the window rails

The changing sky, she adores it

The varying weather, she smiles

Moving trucks, she awes

The sparrows and crows speaks to her

She invites the squirrels to play

Admires the wing flaps of butterfly

All human are innocent- she feels

All are like her unless she breaks the rails

And sees the real world
